Tour Itinerary :
Day 01. Jakarta - Jayapura - Baliem Valley
On arrivals at airport, you will meet me / Raymond as your guide or met by our guide and assist for a short transfer to your booked hotel for check in and proceed to police office for Surat Jalan (Travel Permit) and after that we will do villages trek to see the daily life of local people, passing local traditional gardens, local bridges and enjoy the nature. In the afternoon, we will go back to the city and wait for dinner time. Dinner will be at local Resto.
Day 02. Visit Dani Tribe
After breakfast, we will drive out heading to Jiwika Village first for Mummy tour and continue walk to Sumpaima village for Pig Feast Attraction.
Note : Pig Feast Attraction ( Bakar Batu ) is not the only show that you will see and enjoy but, at this pig feast attraction, you will also see some additional attractions such; Mock Battle, Singing & Dancing, learn how to make a fire traditionally, how to make arrows & bows, how to make a string bags and many more which are parts of our culture.
Lunch boxes will be provided in the village. After lunch, we will continue the tour hike up to Salt spring ( If the weather allows us ) or visit some historical caves.
After all, we will return to the city and free afternoon, relaxing at the hotel waiting for dinner. Dinner will be at the local Resto.
Good to understand :
Here are two options of the price for Bakar Batu and this will be affected to your budget and its always good idea to understand 2 options below before you book your tour and this will help you manage your wallet accordingly.
- Pig Served : To use pig in Bakar Batu, we need to buy the pig and bring it to the village in advance.
- Without Serving a Pig : For this option, we don’t need to buy a pig and bring it to the village but we can enjoy the Bakar Batu with some other options such Buah Merah ( Red Dragon Fruit ) or only some local foods
Day 03. Still Explore Baliem Valley
After breakfast, we will drive out to explore the Dani villages. We will take a walk passing rivers, local gardens to villages. Drive back to the town for lunch and after lunch, we will drive to the Western part to explore around Lani tribe region. On the way back, we will stop by at the local tarditional market and in the afternoon back to your hotel, relaxing and wait for dinner. Dinner at the local Resto at down town.
Day 05. Wamena - Jayapura - Sorong
After breakfast, take a short transfer to the Airport, check in and take a flight to Sorong. Upon arrival at Sorong Airport, proceed to your booked hotel, check in and free afternoon, explore around the city or just relaxing at the hotel wait for dinner. Dinner at the local Resto.
Day 06. Sorong - Waisai - Kri Island
On arrival at Sorong Airport, and proceed to Waisai sea port, get your Ferry tickets and sail to Waisai the capital of Raja Ampat. After arrive, stop by to get your Entrance ID called PIN and continue via boat to Kri Island. On arrival at Kri Island, check in at your homestay and free afternoon explore around the island or snorkeling swim around the island. Dinner will be at your homestay.
Day 07. Still Around Kri Island & Beyond
After breakfast, we will visit white sandbank called Pasir Timbul beyond the Kri Island Called Cap Kri and after that we will do snorkeling at the famous snorkeling spot at Jembuba Jetty. After snorkeling around Jembuba Jetty, we will come back to your homestay for lunch, and fater lunch we wcan continue do snorkeling at Friwend wall and around back to your homestay. Free afternoon relaxing enjoy the sunset at homestay. Dinner will be provided.
Day 08. Kri - Piaynemo - Start Lagoon - Fam Island
After breakfast, we will take a boat ride to visit Pyainemo Top View Point, Star Lagoon, Rufas Lagoon and continue to Fam Island. We can possibly arrange your lunch on Rufas lagoon. And if not, you will have your lunch before or after snorkeling beyond Rufas. After Snorkeling, we will continue to Fam island, check in at your homestay and free afternoon, you can do swimming/snorkeling infront of your bungalows, relaxing enjoy the sunset at homestay or do villages tour or we can walk around the island. Dinner will be provided.
Day 09. Still In Fam & Explore Beyond ( Manta Rays )
After breakfast, we will start a boat trip to Manta Point to see the Manta Ray display and after that we will do snorkeling at shark point but also Dugoons ( Note; if we are lucky we will see them display ) and also we can do fishing and have BBQ on the beach for a lunch. After that we will take walk explore around the island and return to your homestay. Free afternoon relaxing at homestay wait for dinner.
Day 10. Fam - Waisai - Sorong
After breakfast, take a boat ride to Waisai to catch the morning Ferry return to Sorong. Upon arrival in Sorong, proceed to the Airport, check in and take afternoon flight to Jakarta or Bali.
