According to the Regulation of the Governor of West Papua Number 4 of 2019; concerning Tariffs for the Maintenance of Environmental Services BLUD UPTD KKP Raja Ampat Islands, visitors are required to pay for The Environmental Service Fees.
The Environmental Service Fee is a fee charged to any visitor who wishes to enter Raja Ampat Marine Park, which covers an area of over 2 million hectares and is comprised of a network of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs). Funds generated from this fees are hold and managed by the Local Marine Park Authority and go directly towards the management and monitoring of the Marine Park in order to help maintain and improve the quality of the marine environment; support the livelihoods of local people through sustainable management of marine resources in whole Raja Ampat Parts.
By paying the environmental services fees, every visitor directly contributes to the ongoing protection and sustainable management of the Raja Ampat’s unique marine environment and local community for futher tourism in entire parts of Raja Ampat.
Entering the Marine Park without PIN or Entry Park Card is unlawful and can be penalized with expulsion from the Marine Park Authority.

Entry Card ?
Marine Park Entry cards can be purchased from The Raja Ampat Marine Park Authority office in Waisai.
To purchase the Card, you can pay by cash upon arrival at Waisai Seaport or you can do via online registration
How Much Fee
Visitors Must Pay ?
Marine Park Card
- For International Visitors : IDR 1.000.000
- For Indonesian Visitors : IDR 500.000
- Children under 12yrs do not require a Card
- All permits are valid from 12months of date of purchase according to authority’s regulation
Ticket
There is another fee that you need pay called for Ticket as can be seen at the picture below.
For this ticket, every visitor must pay another IDR.300.000 at the terminal building of Waisai Seaport upon arrival
Please make sure, your purchased card must be carried before entering
any Marine Protected Area and while you are exploring Raja Ampat.
